A disused and derelict Victorian pier at an idyllic bay location on the Isle of Wight. The pier was purchased with construction immediately starting to stabilise the structural integrity of the frame. The temporary café was refurbished and leased to a local business owner whilst the grander plans were being finalised.
Planning permission was obtained to construct a large residential dwelling at the seaward end of the pier.
Pilcot Construction have recently completed the refurbishment of the Pier which has included further structural work as well as re-finishing the deck itself with Greenheart timber.
The pier was sold in 2020 to an entrepreneurial restaurateur who’s planning to build a high-end beach bar/restaurant for locals and sailors to enjoy.
